Will I Trust

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in Him will I trust. -- Psalm 91:2 KJV

Do you find that something else is your fortress? A retirement account? Knowledge? Your own strength? -- See Exodus 20:3

The Secret Place

He that dwells in the secret place of the  Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. -- Psalm 91:1 KJV

 

 

Did you know that there is no sin in the secret place of the Most High? It is true. Study it out. The secret place is the holy of holies. Jesus made the way for all to enter in to it . . . all who will repent of their sin, be born again, and be made righteous by the perfect blood of Jesus.

 

There are weird teachings circulating in the church these days. Many people like to believe they can somehow delight in pleasing their carnal, fleshly nature and still walk in the favor of the Lord God, Jesus the Christ. People like to look at righteousness as a symbolic thing, a spiritual thing, a thing that has no impact on their actual lifestyle and behavior. People like to think that God's love just accepts them the way they are, no matter how vile their words and actions may be.

Our Days

Our days are so short. These lives we live are but a breath. When we are young, it seems that life will last forever. We tend to imagine our health will always be good, our muscles will always be strong, our summers will always be carefree, and life will last long enough for us to accomplish all we could desire and more. Then, without notice, the half-way point comes and we realize that not everything is exactly how we expected.
